Symbiosis has diversified over a period of time into education arenas like computers, law, information technology, geo-informatics etc. with management being our flagship. The new development in the field of medical education lay emphasis on skill based training and Simulation-Based Learning experiences.
Simulation allows medical staff, nursing and other healthcare professionals the opportunity to develop and master their skills, repeatedly if needed, without any risk to patients. Simulation programs introduce new techniques and equipment and offer medical professionals the opportunity to practice and manage complex and dynamic medical situation. These developments validate the establishment of Symbiosis Centre for Health Skills (SCHS) and the ample opportunities which this field present by way of research, further testifies to the significance of this department.
I am sure SCHS is ideally poised to pursue this mission of striving for excellence in the field of Simulation-Based Learning experience which is important to health care providers internationally.
