I am a student of first batch of PGDEMS in 2002. This short course has laid the foundation to and has shaped my career. I worked as a Project Manager in the NHS (UK) for 3 years, and currently am Head of West Zone (Maharashtra) EMS
Batch 2002-03
It was the PGDEMS course from Symbiosis that not only fulfilled my wish to serve critical patients but also paved way to lead Emergency Medical Service as Head in Andhra Pradesh and further as Operations Head for Maharashtra Emergency Medical Service (MEMS). Really proud to be a student of Symbiosis.
Batch 2002-03
I was a General Practioner (GP) and then pursued PGDEMS in 2002 (1st batch). This course changed my life and now I am a successful International Emergency & Disaster Medicine Faculty.

The PGDEMS course provides focus on clinical knowledge and in handling medical emergencies, exceeded my expectations and served as catalyst that changed my career path. I would highly recommend this course to others who really want to pursue a career in Emergency Medicine.

In my career, this is one of the best learning experience I have come across. They emphasize critical thinking, provide constructive criticism, and make you feel confident. I had a great experience and learned a lot.

Symbiosis is a great platform for EMS and since a long time is creating a cadre of EMS providers who spread out in the world and serve as frontline health warriors.
Batch 2009-10
This course helped me a lot to develop my skills in Emergency Services & Critical Care and overcome anxiety & gain confidence. It is an overwhelming experience to treat patients in emergencies. So this course is very much useful & every doctor should do this Course.
